About the company

we are a young puppet theatre company making work in English and French for adults and young people.

La petite compagnie is a young theatre company active between London and the south of France. The team is composed of two young artists, Yanai Peri, and Audrey Langellotti, who both write, make, direct and play in their performances. The company’s aim is to bring theater anywhere.  They create performances that are flexible and can adjust to any space and any circumstance. In order to do this they use minimalist scenography and focus on the essential: pure puppetry and pure acting.

The first directive of the company is to be truthful. They bring a lot of themselves into the creative process and talk without barriers about their time and society.

The company benefits of the support and guidance of two celebrated theater artists: Benjamin Sisqueille and Christian Remer who are engaged in passing their experience and knowledge to the next generation.

Discovered puppetry under a bush. Thought that was a brilliant way to play theater without being visible. Found out soon after that it would not be so, but
decided to continued anyway.
Trained with Christian Remer. Took her ten years to write her first show about her grandma. Here she is.
